So to help, here’s a list of three super easy and quick top tips to ensure you give your bicycle a little TLC to keep it going and to keep you safe:

  1. Keep it clean: Keep your bicycle clean in between services, this will help to keep all things visible and stop any nasty build ups of excess dirt and grime.
  2. Oil up: Check that the chain and derailleur is oiled sufficiently. This is important to ensure that you don’t cause any unnecessary wear and tear.
  3. Check your brakes and tyres: Ideally, your brakes and tyres should be checked before and after each ride. Check the brakes for wear and for any gunky build up and check your tyres for any signs of cracking or damage and keep your tyres inflated to correct pressure.
